what's all this about?
4 Corners of the Apocalypse is the debut feature film of local filmmaker Maximillian Remmler!
It's about 4 clone brothers trapped together under the same roof, chaotically attempting to repair any connection they may have left.
For eighteen years, Jason Brighton was a lonely only child taken care of by his strong single mother, Maryann. On the night of his eighteenth birthday, a peculiar sci-fi event turns his entire reality on its head, splitting him into 4 identical brothers - all possessing every memory of "The Original Jason."
Worse yet, none of them truly know which one was the original (but they have theories). This puts loads of strain on the new siblings, as well as their poor unprepared mom.
Meet the Clone brothers!
Jason
The bossy one.
Self-proclaimed "original" and leader. After the split, he chose to keep the name Jason. He acts very controlling of the other three, claiming to know best and encourages his brothers to follow in his footsteps. He works as an emerging agent for Dipsin Real Estate.
Tommy
The sensitive one.
Definitely the most in-tune with emotions, be it his own or that of others. Nice but at a price - he's a HUGE people pleaser which often comes at the cost of his own well-being. His dream is to be an award winning cook, inspired from watching a TV show called Kitchen Missions.
Aidan
The chill one.
Unlike the other clones, Aidan doesn't typically have grandiose emotions and prefers to keep a more level-head. He's indisputably the messiest of the 4, leaving debris all around their living space. He makes a living coding software, but his passions lie in video game design.
Zane
The artsy one.
Often dressing in black with piercings and a fake tattoo sleeve, Zane loves to pretend he's edgy. A fascinating mix between a punk rock kid and a raver. He aspires to make his own rock and electronic music under the alias InZane. Do NOT piss him off unless you came to fight.
About the Director
(As you can tell from the subject of his movie, he's quite full of himself.)
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Maximillian Remmler has been making films since the age of nine.
He received his BA in Communications at the University of Delaware and his MFA in Film at Stony Brook University under the guidance of Christine Vachon of Killer Films.
He's clearly indecisive and can never settle on one genre because he's made dramas, comedies, action, horror, experimental films, and animations.
You can find him replaying the same 4 seconds of a YouTube video over and over because he can't stop laughing at that one part.
